Vintage Patterns, Fabric and Thread! Oh My!

Back in the day when women couldn't find exactly what they wanted fashion wise or just flat out could not afford their champagne taste on a beer budget, they sewed. There were wonderful fabrics out there just waiting to be scooped up and turned into Pucciesque dresses and gowns. Women also made drapes, covers for their couches, dresses for their daughters, suits for their sons and even clothing for their husbands or boyfriends. While there are definitely women that sew in these times quite often it's difficult to make the time to do so and many women opt to have something made utilizing vintage patterns to get exactly what they want.

So regardless of whether it was back in the day or now, vintage patterns offer you the look you want now but can't always find ready made. So whether you are a home seamstress or have a shop of your own making custom clothing don't forget to check out the great vintage pattern selection at Mod Marys Vintage
